I'm Ashley, your event planning extraordinaire, animal lover, and PSL addict.
I love creating unique events and collaborating with like-minded business owners to produce magical experiences. Traveling is my passion and meeting new people. After completing my Bachelors of Entrepreneurship in Boston and achieving my Masters of International Marketing and Project Management in London, I knew I wanted to open my own event planning business and so Toney Consulting transpired.

Our couples have their hands on every detail throughout the entire planning experience, we simply facilitate and make sure everything is done the way YOU want it to be done.
As a senior in high school all students were required to create a project that benefit the local community. As a dedicated dancer for 17 years and a dance teacher for 6 years, I chose to start a scholarship in my name in order to give back. Teaching paid for my tuition to dance at the studio, this was my way of giving back to the local community. The scholarship supports dancers who are dedicated, passionate about dancing, and struggle financially to afford tuition and costumes each year. In order to start the scholarship, I needed to raise funds. Along with a variety of other fundraising efforts, I also organized a benefit dance performance bringing in local dancers and studios from across Vermont to perform and raise funds for the scholarship. This is when I realized my keen interest in events.
Fast forward 5 years -- I received a Bachelors and a Masters and was then working as an Event Sales Manager for a local Destination Management Company in San Antonio, TX at one of the most prestigious resorts in Southern Texas. I organized a multitude of events for over 180 major corporate clients traveling across the globe for conferences in San Antonio, TX. Corporate clients included 3M, Philips, ALHI, First Reserve, Haddington Ventures, Edward Jones, Legrand, and more.
As I became more experienced in the events industry, I began consulting for clients across the globe assisting with event and marketing efforts for small to medium sized businesses. I have successfully implemented strategic initiatives focusing on CRM and market growth for companies domestically and internationally. With a strong global mindset, I am able to deliver an international approach and present strong cultural awareness and understanding.
With the diversity and experience I have acquired in marketing and events, I decided to start my own consulting company -- Toney Consulting.
More recent projects include planning and coordinating the NY State Governors Cabinet Retreat, corporate meetings for major companies like Lockheed Martin, Dairy Farmers of America, and Toyota. When I'm not working on planning corporate events, I'm meeting with my beautiful wedding couples to help plan their special day and organizing unique seasonal styled photoshoots with other vendors in the industry.
