Blush Botanical Spring Wedding Styled Photoshoot

Geist House Photo + Film

Our Spring styled shootout was one for the books. Originally scheduled for the beginning of May then rescheduled five times. We were finally able to make it happen at the end of July and it couldn’t have been a more beautiful day. This was one of our longest shoots so far, starting at 8:00 AM and not finishing until after 5:00 PM. What a day! That’s how much fun the photographers and videographers had throughout the day.

Each styled shoot is a level up from the previous shoot. I avoid hosting shootouts at similar locations. I want to provide variety and new experiences for everyone involved. And this shootout did just that. At the end of the day we all hopped on golf carts and ventured around the golf course capturing unbelievable footage in some of the most exquisite locations on property.

For more on the day and vendors involved, check out a behind-the-scenes snapshot below.

First up, the décor!

For our spring shootout I really wanted to focus on blush tones, a botanical feel, and dainty details which were brought in through the lace textures both in the gown and table linen. Oops-a-Daisy Floral + Design knocked it out of the park with beautiful floral arrangements that really tied everything together. Elizabeth’s Chair Cover Rentals provided beautiful pieces to enhance the overall look. From the delicate linen to the beautiful chargers. Bella Figura designed the embossed stationary which was showcased on the table design as well.

Next up, the desserts!

Kelsie Mack with The Gingersnap Bakery absolutely nailed it. Her desserts are unbelievably delicious and the spread she showcased was out of this world. She provides such a variety of different designs and sweet treats. It’s always a pleasure showcasing her work.

Alicia, the chef at Bellevue Country Club, crafted some beautiful dishes to showcase at our photoshoot. Her skills are unbelievable and the food tasted even better!
