On Saturday, March 14th, we met up with an amazing group of vendors to create our winter styled photoshoot. It was a magical day.
Our styled photoshoots are seasonal and follow current trends for that given year. We couldn’t think of any better style to produce than the ever so popular Emerald theme for this shoot. Each vendor involved was super excited to participate as they hadn’t had the opportunity to shoot this theme yet.
We create and produce styled photoshoots to provide current content for all vendors involved. It’s important that we as vendors are using current trends in our promotional efforts when marketing our businesses. We collaborate as businesses within this industry to bring these themes and styles to life.
When putting together this photoshoot, we thought of every little detail. From the texture of linen on tables to the colors and types of floral in all of the décor. But we can’t do it alone! We put together some of the best vendors in Upstate NY to design and produce this enchanted fairytale of a day.
We hope you enjoy the photos as much as we did creating and producing this event.
Let's start with the decor and all of the pretty little details.
We knew bringing in an emerald theme for a winter shoot would mean we absolutely needed to incorporate velvet linen. This 80s style is coming back into fashion and so why not incorporate it into an event?! We matched the velvet round linen with a sleek satin emerald linen for the long banquet styled head table.
Floral was out of this world! Ashley Kirnan, with Tarry Grove, did an outstanding job creating all arrangements onsite. From the table scapes, to the arbor, dessert station, and lounge areas. What was the most impressive, were the beautifully crafted bouquets she created for our models.
The rentals tied the entire design together. We partnered with 3 different rental companies to create centerpieces, to design our lounge areas, ceremony decor, and dessert station. All of their pieces were cohesive and wrapped up the design so beautifully.
Next, the invitation suite and signage. We partnered with Rachel of Handmade Darling. Her work with so elegant and we couldn't think of a better company to showcase in our winter styled photoshoot.
From the delicate details in the invitation suite to the velvet wrapping she provided to match the linen; she covered it all. The photographers were the stylists when it came time to photographing the invitations. They did a beautiful job! They brought in some macaroons from our dessert table, extra floral, and the perfect shade of peach ribbon to bring out certain tones in the theme. And we couldn't forget a velvet ring case because they are just PERFECT for styling rings.
Then came the desserts. I mean, who doesn't love a macaroon?! And that cake...out of this world! We teamed up with Dream Cakes by Lucy to provide these magnificent works of art. Look at the tiny little details in the cake. Lucy thought of it all!
Our models for this particular shoot were real life couples. The bride and groom just so happened to be engaged and will be getting married at this venue soon! You can see the love in their eyes and in the softness of their touch.
The bride was also our make-up artist. It's all about the details. Dominique Fess did the brides hair and it was unbelievable. The bridal gown showcased was provided by Stellas Bridal and the grooms attire was provided by Incognito Menswear, both out of Rochester, NY.
